IBEX Robot…………

IBEX Robot…………

IBEX is a farming robot capable of meeting farming needs in hilly and irregular surfaces. IBEX can be a fantastic investment for the farmers generally used for weed cutting.

Farming is not an easy job. And it becomes more difficult when the source is not normal. Yes, here I am talking about land and water. When we talk about the hilly area in this situation, farming has become a tough job for the farmers.basilly is a situation making an impact in the United Kingdom. IBEX was created to overcome this problem and to minimize manual activity. The IBEX project was founded by a consortium of SMEs composed of Hunshelf Hall Field, Digital Concepts Engineering, and G32 Technology, co-funded by Innovate UK’s AgriTech Catalyst.

About and Info:

  • Develop: by a consortium of SMEs composed of Hunshelf Hall Field, Digital Concepts Engineering, and G32 Technology, co-funded by Innovate UK’s AgriTech Catalyst.
  • Developed: early as1920s
  • First Agri robot developed by Eli Whitney

Its design is simple, IBEX is one meter in length and is completely independent of all-terrain vehicles. The caterpillar wheels help IBEX to conquer up to 45 degrees of hard territory and slope. Its less weight quality help to easily move to one place to another. Its good wheels help to move in a muddy and hard land.

Features :

  • IBEX primarily helps to kill weeds. A high-resolution camera and navigation systems on board aid in weed identification. Images from cameras are used to observe plant and soil conditions. In fact, manual monitoring is also necessary because of the camera feed’s live streaming. This function helps farmers to make necessary adjustments to a specific field whenever needed.
  • Probably going to cost the same as a normal ATV, farmers should find it cheaper compared with usual spraying prices. Multiple strategies to kill the weeds can be applied onboard. It is possible to install mechanical spinning cutters or a chemical sprayer on the robot without much difficulty, depending on the farmers’ needs.

Working Process:

IBEX robots take a tour of the whole field and examine all the situations. A high resolution onboard monitor and navigation devices aids in weed identification. And help to kill weed in the field. Photos from the camera are used to track the plants and soil conditions. In addition, the live streaming of the camera feed also requires manual monitoring. Such features allow farmers to make suitable changes in a given region whenever necessary.it helps the farmer to change its strategies towards crop patterns and help the farmer to grow more productive crops.

Benefits:

  • IBEX robots help to navigate the field easily.
  • IBEX robots help to remove weeds from the field.
  • IBEX robots easily move in the hilly area.
  • IBEX robots used to track the plants and soil conditions.
